2012 Raku Burn Party Cascade Clay Artists held their annual Burn Party on the beach in Camano Island September 8, resulting in countless beautiful
works of art. Photo shows a fish sculpture just removed from the raku
kiln, and about to go into the reduction pot filled with newspapers.
While some people manned the constant loading, firing and unloading of
clay art, most did our second favorite thing...talking about clay art,
glazes, techniques, plus a lot of eating from our pot luck array of
delicious foods. |
